In its latest issue, Woman's Day magazine asks:
Why is your library important to your community?
In an essay of 700 words or less, tell us what makes your library special, and how it enriches the lives of you and your neighbors. Up to four women's stories will be featured online or in an upcoming issue of Woman's Day.
All you have to do to enter is send in your story to womansday@ala.org before May 9. Keep in mind that entries will only be accepted from women ages 18 and up. For more information, visit womansday.com/ala.
While you're there, read Woman's Day's latest story about libraries, featuring stories from four women on how they used the library to save money
