Have you ever seen a television commercial for your local public library? Although not all libraries have them, some have created highly imaginative and entertaining ways of informing people about their services. For our bi-weekly series of YouTube library videos, we present to you five of the best Library Commercials on YouTube.

As this video will show you, learning activities at the Bizzell Library can get a little, well… bizarre. These University of Oklahoma students created this fake library commercial as a way to say, “Books can be cool, too! Really!”

We saved the best for last! Using LEGOs and some animation tricks, this promotion for the Berlin Peck Memorial Library of Berlin, CT, was done in the style of a stereotypical television product infomercial. “Thousands of styles, use it again and again, set it and forget it, it’s magical, doesn’t use batteries!”
