Award Worthy Librarian in Memphis, Tennessee
I'm not the type to think I will win the Publisher's Clearinghouse money or that I will receive a mysterious letter saying a long lost relative has left me an inheritance, but I was positive my nominee for the 2011 I Love My Librarian award would win. We have a magical children's librarian at our main public library in Memphis, Tennessee, by the name of Susan Penn. I'm certain she was your 11th pick and that once you find out more about her, you will select her for 2012! If only the children of the world could have more Susan Penns in their lives. Thank you to the Carnegie Corporation and to The New York Times for sponsoring this award for the treasures in our communities.
ilovemylibrarian award: 2012
At The Bay Terrace Library, 18-36 Bell Boulevard, Bayside,NY 11360 I had the good fortune to meet with a librarian that has inspired entering her into The Carnegie Corporation of New York/New York Times "I Love My Librarian!" 2012 Award. Why? You might ask. She generously spent the time to help me find the books that I wanted! I am forever grateful to her. As soon as I am notified of entering the contest, I will include her so that she may obtain the recognition she rightly deserves!
