It is our pleasure to announce the winners of the @ your library Design a Tote Bag Contest!

After carefully considering the top ten finalists, as well as counting the votes on Flickr, we have come to a final decision on our Grand Prize and People’s Choice Award Winners.

The Grand Prize Winner of the Design a Tote Bag Contest is Amelia Brunskill of Pennsylvania. Her piece, entitled “Feed Your Mind,” best represents our key judging criteria, as well as the message of libraries as modern, friendly, and intellectually stimulating.

Amelia’s fun and vibrant design, seen below, will be adapted for printing on a white canvas tote bag. We hope you’ll join us in congratulating Amelia on winning our contest! Amelia will be awarded $500 as well as get her design on a limited-edition tote bag.

After tallying up the votes on our Flickr group page, we find that you, the readers, have chosen Rick Mula of Tennessee as the winner of the People’s Choice Award! His design “Find Love At Your Library” received a total of 156 votes and is also very vibrant, modern and positive. Congratulations to Rick on winning our People’s Choice Award! Rick will be awarded $100.
